My employer decided that I should have responsebility of our site. It was setup by some semi pro dude but then someone else in the company took over.
Long story short, its a mess and I want to start from scratch so I can get to know it my way. I am experienced working around computers but have no coding skill.
The site will focus on Boats that we sell and services around that topic. No webshop is needed, I will mostly use images, text and I need some Kinda contact form. I just want something thats easy to use while being clean to look at.

Do i need a plugin to resize images? The images I download from our boat supplier is high res.

I would recommend you don’t touch the live site until you at least get familiar with WP.
Take a back up of the live site and download it.
Go and download “Local” from [localwp.com]). Setup a site in Local, restore the backup in there and try things out.
