Roles that Restrict Users to Editing Specific Pages

[ad_1]

Hi! I work at a college, and we are using wordpress to replace google sites. I have built out webpages for the different faculty members I work with, and we would like to give them access to their sites, so we don’t have to do small edits.

Is there a way to give a professor a role where they can only edit their specific pages? So their main page and all the children of that page. I have looked into plugins for this like PublishPress, but honestly I am having a difficult time figuring it out.
