What are safe to delete WordPress files after installation? – e.g. emoji not being used and therefore deleting the related file

Are there any resources explaining the purpose of each file that get downloaded?

  1. No, do not delete any files, just disable anything you won’t need or use.

This is a great plugin for this –

  2. There really aren’t any. There’s a readme text in the root folder that doesn’t do anything. But that’s about it.

  3. You remind me of my young self deleting ‘command.exe’ and the whole C:dos folder because I wanted to make more room for games. Oh boy did I learn it the hard way!

  4. How about you sit there with you hands in your pockets and not worry about saving 600 bytes disk space for an emoji.
