We are going to build a new website, and although I’ve read that it is the best practice to start from scratch, I am also liking the Idea of using wordpress/WooCommerce.
Pros of WordPress/Woo seem to be first of all the themes, meaning speeding up the process by a lot, and secondly installation of plugins that also seems very useful in the long run.
Pros of Scratch, well probably a cleaner code, faster loading times, and most of the plugins do have a code to add to the website.
I do have some basic knowledge about both of these but I’d like to avoid messing with the code.
And, I am not sure if I will be supported with maintenance. This is yet to be discussed.
One of the most important things is the SEO of the website.
We are a fast growing company, so we need to see things in the long run.
