Scrolls to top when custom element clicked

What’s the button meant to do, it does not look like a modal is used anywhere on the page. The href for the button is set to # which means when clicked it will go to the top of the page, which is what it is doing. If you want it to launch a modal then create a modal and use the custom element trigger with the trigger class set to elementor-button-link. Hope that helps.

It did, partially.

The issue with it not working I figured out was of course my error in having moved the modal block, but for my original question to make it not scroll to the top even when the modal is working, I gave the button’s section a custom class name and then linked the button href to that section. So the modal comes up and the page stays put.

I still have the issue of no confirmation showing, but that seems to be because submit reloads the page. It closes the modal and scrolls back at the top…this is more of a js thing with the wp subscribe widget than this block.

Thanks

Glad it helped, even if just a bit
