Sorry if this drags on and not worded correctly.
I am relatively new to WordPress and have recently set up my website with hosting and Elementor. After conducting some research, I have spent a considerable amount of time trying to understand the login and registration process.
I linked up the login page to my homepage menu ‘Login’. Went onto incognito and tried creating an account, seemed to go okay until it signed me into [www.myurl.com/wp-admin/]) (but didnt have admin privileges) So it seems to of signed me up to wordpress instead of my site? Which I don’t want obviously. Also how to hide the login button and/or change it to logout once someone has signed up.

How did you create the signup form? Most signup form plugins and tools have a way to specify a redirect url after submission.
