I am in the process of setting up a service for creating web pages and online stores, and have outlined a learning path to ensure I am well-equipped with the necessary skills. I already have knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I would love to receive your opinions and suggestions on this path I have planned. Here it goes:
1. Basic PHP:
• Learning PHP, the programming language on which WordPress is based, to better understand and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
2. Advanced WordPress:
• Learning how to install, configure, and customize WordPress, including creating and customizing themes and plugins as per project needs.
3. Mastering Elementor and Envato:
• Delving into using Elementor for design and Envato Elements for premium design resources, with the goal of creating visually appealing and functional sites.
4. WooCommerce:
• Learning how to set up and customize online stores with WooCommerce, manage products, and customize the store’s appearance.
5. Optimization and SEO:
• Learning speed optimization techniques and basic to advanced SEO to improve the visibility and performance of the websites.
6. Maintenance and Support:
• Learning about regular maintenance, updates, security, and providing effective technical support to clients.
7. Portfolio and Testimonials:
• Documenting and showcasing past projects, and soliciting and collecting testimonials from satisfied clients to build trust with prospects.
I am open to any suggestions or recommendations you may have to improve this learning path. Is there anything you think I should add, modify, or remove? Any advice or experiences you can share will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
