Need advice and suggestions regarding my WordPress-related business. I’ve been active for a while.
**What I do?**
1. Have around 5 plugins on [WordPress.org]) averaging 5000 active installs.
2. Premium versions of some plugins and make a few hundred $ every month.
3. A website with tutorials and also premium plugins for download getting 5k visits a month.
**The problem?**
When I first started, I made the decision to go with a domain name that wasn’t ideal. It was somewhat similar to [learnhowelementor.com]), using this as an example only. I settled for it because the alternatives, like learnelementor and learnhowtoelementor, were either taken or too expensive.
I have no socials at the moment and I want to start advertising and offering web design services on the website as well. However, the domain name I feel, is not great for advertising or mentioning on socials, especially for design and development.
I was thinking of coming up with a new name and domain for offering web design and using that on socials and when posting tutorial links still to the main website that I have right now.
**How can you help?**
If you have any examples of this being done so I have some reference please share.
If you have any other suggestions or advice please share.
I’m currently feeling a bit lost on how to move forward. I think I want to hear opinions of other people. If you could provide any general direction or share relevant resources or experiences.
P.S. I know I could ask this in other subreddits like /r/Enterprenur but I believe that /r/WordPress was a better choice for my current situation.
