Hi all – I’m working on building a tour company WordPress website. It’ll first be in English but at some point I want to have it available in other languages. I’m not a SEO specialist but after training myself by watching tutorials, I came up with a list of requirements/things to do to make sure I start my website with solid SEO foundations. Can you guys let me know if there’s anything important I’ve missed (or anything irrelevant I have listed) –
\- tick the box that discourage search engine to index your website till you’re ready with your website
\- edit all your permalinks with a relevant structure
\- do some internal linking between different pages of your website
\- add a XML sitemaps / or is it already integrated by WP now?
\- add categories and tags and optimize all your posts
\- use no follow for any external links
\- optimize all images before uploading them
