SEO & Cookies

[ad_1]

Hi everyone!

I’ve just finished a new website for a client and put a lot of effort into optimizing its performance & SEO. Currently, most metrics are sitting at around 92-95 (can go up to 99 for performance when OVH is behaving properly) on Lighthouse and pagespeed.web.dev. The website has been live for two months, but my client wants it to rank higher in search engine results for specific keywords. I’ve optimized meta tags and alt attributes, and integrated keywords throughout the website. However, since my client struggles to articulate their products/services, I’ve had to write most of the content myself without clear guidelines.

To improve SEO further, I’m considering delving into SEA (Search Engine Advertising), but I want to ensure I haven’t overlooked any other strategies. My client doesn’t collect user data, so I’m unsure if I should implement a cookies plugin. I live in Europe, and there are varying opinions on this matter. Since we’re not collecting data, I don’t think it’s necessary, but I’d appreciate clarification on whether it’s required.
