SEO Framework Plug-in — Will it automatically change all my custom meta descriptions?

I don’t want automatically generated anything. I am looking for the lightest weight meta tag description plug-in I can find (that isn’t shady)

I want to keep all my work Custom, like I do with Yoast, Manage type up meta headlines & Descriptions for each page.

If I get SEO Framework will it just start changing things automatically before I can even turn off automatic settings?

And — are all the automatic aspects of this plug-in optional? Can I turn them all off?
