I find this hilarious because according to the FFTF pages, ServMask contributes less overall resources than WP Engine, and this doesn’t account for ecosystem support that WP Engine is now locked out of.
Yoast also sided with Matt.
ServMask is entitled to side with whomever they want, and does not have to offer support on WP Engine.
I don’t think they had a choice if they wanted to continue being partnered with Automattic. ServMask is kind of an idiot anyway.

This hosting company has decided not to allow the plugin for unknown reasons. If you want to use the plugin, contact them and ask them to enable it for your account.
We know why, and Kinsta has told them why. It’s a resource-intensive plugin and clogs up their servers. Folks are also not configuring it correctly and often end up overusing their disk space.
So if you pay for a premium add-on but are on WPEngine, are they really gonna tell you to fuck off if you need support?
