We have numerous sites using the Yoast SEO plugin. The most recent update has caused severe latency on a number of those sites. If I leave everything as-is, but disable the Yoast SEO plugin, the site runs perfectly. But as soon as Yoast is activated, the site slows down and load times shoot into the 40-second range, so much so that it produces 502 errors on the site.
