Shipping informations are not sent in woocommerce emails.

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce Plugin Support. I understand you’re having trouble with the shipping information in your WooCommerce emails.

I’ve checked your screenshot and I can see that the shipping address is missing from the email. This is because WooCommerce only includes the shipping address in the emails when the order needs shipping. If you create an order manually from the admin interface, WooCommerce assumes that the order does not need shipping, unless you specify otherwise.

To solve this problem, you need to enable the shipping option for the order when you create it manually. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Go to WooCommerce > Orders > Add Order.
  • Fill in the customer details and the order items as usual.
  • Click on the Edit button next to Shipping.
  • Enter the shipping address and the shipping method for the order.
  • Click on the Create button.

Now, when you send the email to the customer, the shipping address should be included in the email.

You can also use a plugin like WooCommerce Shipment Tracking to add a tracking link to the email so that the customer can track their order online.

I tested it on several different sites and on brand new wordpress+woocommerce installations and it always works. From this I can see that it works naturally, but this is a huge bug. How can I fix it?

Thanks for providing the screenshot, this is very helpful!

According to screenshot you shared, it looks like “Shipping” has not been added to the order yet.

Although the “Shipping details” have been added correctly, in order for the Shipping details to be added to the order email, you’d need to do the following:

  • Within the order edit page, click on “Add items”:
  • Next, click on “Add Shipping”:
  • The Shipping “item” should now be added to the order items. Click on the pencil icon to add the shipping method:
  • Select the Shipping method from dropdown, and save the changes to the order:

Once this has been added, the Shipping address should show up on the order emails.
