Should Homepage or Woo Shop page be Pillar content?

I checked a lot on your official site, but still confused upon how to set Pillar content.

Should Homepage or Woo Shop page be Pillar content? What is the most practical setting for a Woocommerce site please?

Or we have to set a WordPress default post or a page as Pillar content?

Or maybe a specific product, or a custom category page should be set as Pillar content?

if yes, how should we set this product, post or page in the site map? should it be put at the first level, or at homepage? or it does matter with the site map level?
