The “top searches” in my WordPress dashboard stats box (Jetpack plugin) have begun to include weird, sexy-sounding terms. I don’t know if I’m reading too much into them, but they’re phrases which I don’t write about and don’t think will be on my site legitimately. I haven’t tried searching for them myself (just in case they’re really inappropriate terms!)
I had a temporary spike in traffic recently because of a trending news item, and noticed these terms started appearing after that. I wondered at first if it might be a competitor (lol – I’m a tiny site!) or if it might be signs of a hack?
