Hi WP guys! I'm building a new custom site and usually use ACF Pro, which has worked great for my clients. But this time, I want to try something different. The thing that ACF free version doesn’t include the gallery field, so I did some research and found the Pods plugin. It’s totally free and works like a charm.
However, I've read some reviews mentioning that Pods has had compatibility issues with Elementor in the past. I don't want to spend months posting hundreds of entries only to have Pods stop working, mess up my layout, or worst of all, get abandoned by the developers. 🙁
So, can anyone recommend a solid plugin for creating custom post types with a gallery field that works flawlessly with Elementor?

ACF Pro is probably one of the better CPT plugins. It’s has built in compatibility with many other plugins, which some of the other CPT plugins don’t have.
Pods works very well with Elementor galleries and every other dynamic data field Elementor offers. Works just the same as ACF with Elementor.
