Should I Disable AMP?

[ad_1]

Hey there,

I’m seeking some guidance on a topic that has me a bit puzzled. I recently started using AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) to improve my website’s mobile loading speed. However, when I looked at the performance metrics, I noticed something that left me scratching my head.

In the original non-AMP version of my mobile site, I’m getting a pretty high performance score, around 98 according to evaluation tools. However, when I enable AMP for my posts, the performance score drops significantly, hovering around 65 (On the same post).

My lack of advanced AMP knowledge leads me to wonder whether I should continue using this technology or if it might be better to disable it. A couple of concerns come to mind: is it truly enhancing the user experience if the performance score is lower with AMP? Are there ways to optimize AMP to achieve a similar or even superior score compared to the original mobile version?

I really appreciate any advice, insights, or knowledge you can share with me. If anyone has experience using AMP or understands the reasons behind this performance metric difference, please enlighten me! My main goal is to provide an excellent experience for mobile users without compromising performance.

Thanks in advance for your help and advice!
