Should I go with Bricks?

[ad_1]

Hi everyone,

I am on my job search to find a front-end developer position, I never used WordPress before. A local company contacted me for help in revamping their microsite for an annual festival.

After doing some research, I found Bricks and it got a lot of good reviews. Since I lack good design skills, I am curious if Bricks would be a suitable starting point. The client also want to be able to update the site content by themeselve when needed.

Additionally, the client wishes to update the site’s content themselves when necessary and integrate it with apps that facilitate ticket purchases for the festival.

I would appreciate any feedback and recommendations.

*I might use WordPress this time only, I am also wondering if I should get a theme from themeforest.*

  1. Bricks offers a demo on their website. Try it and see if it makes sense to you, but more importantly, if you think it will make sense to your client.

  2. Yes just go for it ! In the days of bricks and it’s clean code and dom there is no need to hand coding websites UELESS you are creating a simple static site.
