I self host a simple portfolio website with a blog using WordPress and from time to time, I will create a blog post with photos that are not portfolio worthy. As I start to post more and more, I noticed the other day my WordPress site crashing upon trying to upload about 15 2MB photos. I suspect it’s database related so I was thinking, should I be hosting these photos elsewhere or keep the setup I have (simply upload it via the media manager) but maybe expand on the VM resources? What is recommended?
