Some languages (Japanese, Chinese, etc.) are not supported by the default font included with the plugin, in this case a custom font is required. Here you can read how to install a custom font: Using custom fonts
However, we also have a Unicode extension ready-made that you can install in your site to display Chinese characters: woocommerce-pdf-ips-unicode.1.0.1.zip
You just need to install and activate it in your site, and that is it!
