The ?eventDisplay=past parameter works only on the default Events page. I can see that in your website you’re using the Divi Events Calendar plugin, which modifies the default Events page layout, so that parameter will not work as expected.
In your scenario, as you’re using a third-party plugin to modify the events layout, would be good contacting them and check if they provide a similar feature.
