I need a simple image display plugin that will work in a sidebar widget area. I have five different images that need to either change with each page reload or it can rotate through all the images like a slider. The images also need to be hyperlinked. I don’t want a bloated plugin with features I’ll never use.
Seems like a simple thing to do, but I’ve had trouble finding one that works.
I’m using 2012 WP theme. (I know, I know, it’s old.)
What I’ve tried so far:
Gutenslider: I used this on another site, worked well, but on the homepage proper. It doesn’t seem to work well in the widget area, can’t can only get it to hyperlink a single image.
Image Widget: doesn’t do multiple images.
TomS Image Slider: can’t hyperlink.
Any suggestions?
