Since Google is preparing to get rid of internet cookies very soon, how do you plan to optimize your WordPress website to prepare for this change?

I’m doing a piece on how to prepare for a cookieless future which has a strong WordPress angle for businesses that use the CMS for their website.

I’d love to hear what tips you guys have for such websites who are trying to get rid of cookies.

  1. I already ditched Google Analytics and Adsense, as well as Jetpack, so the only cookies visitors get are the ones created when they leave a comment. I’m about as prepared as I’m gonna get, I think.

  2. That’s just google doing that though, right? They’re big, but they’re not the entirety of the internet.
