That’s not really possible with how the template is currently structured. The intention in the design was really to have the date alone be what’s in the prominent box, but including the times in the multi-day events was a necessary workaround because it’s the only way to clearly associate the times with the dates.

Can you see it as a possibility to include the start time in a single day event maybe with a shortcode switch in some future release?
In my case, it would make the customized styling cleaner with equal height for each event (plus you could see the event start time from the same location for each event which is more user friendly, I think).
Yes, I think that’s a reasonable option to add. I’m intending to supplement the “basic” view with a variety of style/formatting/layout options over time, so I could include this.
