Single page application or WordPress standard website?

I need to create a website for a touchscreen tv display of a fixed resolution. The website has changing background images to the body element on all the pages. My question is that as the background will be changing on all pages throughout the website, to keep it continuity consistent of changing background images is it possible to have this as a single page application? I have 0% knowledge in react. Or should I build as a standard WordPress website. The only downside that the page will load each time and this will lose the background images continuity when clicked on a link.

Do you suggest any other possibilities? Where I can load multiple pages on same page without using react? I have to build this in 2 weeks so learning react this quickly is not possible.
