The reason for the warning is an addition that was made with 6.6. The background is explained in this ticket: https://core.trac.projectdmc.org/ticket/61276

The warning itself explains how to address the problem.

The ticket explains how to disable the warning if you’d rather not see it instead.

Hey guys, thanks for your responses.

@macmanx, I read what you sent. It explains how to raise the threshold, but I prefer not to change the default WordPress configuration. From what I understand, the default threshold is 1MB, and the recommendation is to keep it under 800KB:

https://developer.projectdmc.org/advanced-administration/performance/optimization/#autoloaded-options

Currently, my Autoload size is only 623KB, so it shouldn’t be causing any issues.

By the way, I’ve removed plugins and reduced the autoload size even further below 623KB, yet it still shows a critical warning. I’m pretty sure this is a bug.

And from the link you sent, I’m now 100% sure it’s because of the new update to version 6.6.1.

Even experienced developers prefer not to change default configurations like that. I’m pretty sure the people who build WordPress know their product much better than I do, and changing something like that could only cause damage.

Anyway, as I mentioned, my Autoload size is 623KB (I’ll send a screenshot). It shouldn’t be triggering any warnings and should keep my site health clean.

I appreciate your responses and time. I hope we can make WordPress better for everyone, not just for me 🙂

By the way, i create a bug ticket as well:
