I migrated my site from GoDaddy to Powweb a couple years ago and ever since, a few times a day, my site goes to the install screen. It returns to normal on its own without me having to do anything. From researching this issue it seems like it has something to do with a database connection. Is there something I can do to make this issue go away? My site traffic is a fraction of a percent compared to what it was before the move and I suspect this issue has a lot to do with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried contacting your hosting support? They are in the best position to provide you with an explanation for this and fix it.
Ask your hosting about it, and especially tell them to make sure that your file system is stable. If you’re getting the install screen a lot, then it means that the config file can’t be accessed or read at that time by the WordPress instance. It doesn’t necessarily mean your database credentials are wrong, but your file system may be unstable. If you use a dedicated server, this could be a sign of a failing hard drive.
