Sitemap Question

[ad_1]

If I recently pointed everything to HTTPS/NON WWW is that the only sitemap I need to worry about loading? I feel like it’s a silly question, but I’ve got sitemaps out there for the HTTP, HTTP/WWW, HTTP/NON WWW, and HTTPS/WWW versions of my site. If there isn’t/shouldn’t be any traffic going to those I’m guessing there’s no harm in deleting them.

Any advice appreciated. Thank you!

  1. You should only have 1 sitemap – and it needs to be the one with the correct URLs. You should only have one ‘correct’ URL.

Setup htaccess rule to 301 redirect your URLs to the correct protocol/URL.
