the xml script is showing at the top of my sitemap page, as well as in the middle where it is supposed to be. Why is popping up in two spots? The page itself is configured correctly on the back end.
I just removed the long XML script from the page. Apparently the script is not needed. it is running in the background and didn’t need to be shown on the page to viewers.
