Images load slow, looking for any suggestions on how to fix this? I am looking for images (photos) to load fast for first time visitors (I have Litespeed Cache ver 5.3.2 plugin installed)
* Home internet is 1 Gb, very fast internet.
* WordPress 6.1.1 running [Ashe Pro]) theme.
* Images are typically 1000 x 1500 and around 1MB in size, png or jpg
* Shared hosting (Stellar Plus with [Namecheap.com](https://Namecheap.com))
1MB is massive and not appropriate for the web – images should be compressed before uploading, and ideally under 200KB.
If the images are actually displayed at that resolution, then the best thing to do is use a tool to optimize them; I like for processing images before they’re uploaded, or you can use something like WP Smush to optimize them once they’re on the server.
