I got this page where a “-2” is forced into the slug I know there’s supposed to be a duplicate but I none exist so I was wondering, would it be possible to remove the “-2”

Some slugs are reserved, like /embed, or it could be an attachment as well. Have you searched the database for the slug?
If you try to remove it and it goes back to *-2, something else somewhere is using that. Could be media, page, post, etc.
Do you have anything in your trash with that slug?
Check your trash bin. Common issue is the page/post still exists in trash or draft status and the original needs to be permanently deleted or have the slug changed to avoid permalink conflicts.
