Small blog. Methods for displaying a list of donors? Using Ko-Fi

[ad_1]

Greetings everyone.

Small blogger here whose growing the site slowly but surely.

I’ve experimented with Patreon and Kofi over the past X months. Patreon was useful when I was doing live services connected to the site (game hosting), but its tough to get patrons for just the site’s contents. Its a whole area that can get bewildering sometimes. I pivoted to Kofi, as I figure my user base,… likely hobbyists,… would likely be more accepting to one-time donations. The decisions making is neither here nor there, and is sidebar context.

The main content of this post is that I’ve been searching for the most effective way to get up a List of Donors page / or Special Thanks for donors or other people who have helped in other ways; something friendly to recognize who has contributed to the site. Its not a lot; its just individuals.

I’ve been looking for something that can feed a list of Ko-Fi donors to a simple widget. Most of the plugins seem to be geared towards other services for donation, and Ko-Fi plugins are almost all “buttons” or something similar.

——

1) Does this just go into the realm of custom managing a page or widget which I update manually whenever there is activity? Am I overthinking this?

2) Are there any plugins you might recommend to help with this?

3) You’re all WordPress users! … Might I query you for clever ideas for how you might provide this sort of perk? A specific plugin combo, configuration, or thing you may have seen?
