Hey everyone! I’m working on different projects and they’ve asked me to use wordpress for the first time. After struggling a lot to find the best way to build a website I realize I’m not the only one ( see thi [post on reddit]). Basically I’d like to write my own code to have my theme 100% custom made and have some small features/detail that seems I won’t achieve using Elementor or Oxygen (those two are a nightmare). But still, I have no idea on how to make it. I have knowledge in HTML & CSS and some Javascript but not PhP at all and I don’t think I’ll have time to learn it due my deadline. Is there a way to write your own code? what’s the pros & cons to do that?
