I have an e-commerce website with a blog. I tried to set up my emails using SMTP using Brevo as my mailer. I am not able to authenticate my email and i keep getting error message saying that there’s some configuration issue or host is blocking, or something like that.
I am using an existing yahoo email and was told that I don’t need to use smtp. My issue is when I check my forms, the email don’t go through. Should I just delete SMTP plugins?

Set up Mailgun. It’s not free but it’s very cheap and it works really well.
Have you setup your SPF record? Have you read the help/emails telling you how to authenticate/verify your domain?
