Someone please help ;(

Hey, so I’ve just updated the database for woocommerce and elementor for a clients site. Then I checked the site and it said a critical error.

I then updated the plugins and can’t get back into the admin panel now.

I did make a backup before making any changes, but this is still giving me a critical error. Can’t see the log file in the file directory snd not sure what else to do.

I’ve also disabled the plugins via the database but still nothing.

What else can I do

  1. Click the link on the critical error screen. It’s literally telling you want to do.

    edit: downvote, ok I’ll make it super easy for you, here’s what the link tells you to do:

    *Debugging PHP code is part of any project, but WordPress comes with specific debug systems designed to simplify the process as well as standardize code across the core, plugins and themes.*

    *Example wp-config.php for Debugging*

    *The following code, inserted in your* `wp-config.php` *file, will log all errors, notices, and warnings to a file called debug.log in the wp-content directory. It will also hide the errors so they do not interrupt page generation.*

    // Enable WP_DEBUG mode
    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
