I am getting lots of spam sign ups and they always use gmail addresses, the same ones, but put dots in different places eg:
to prevent them signing up (they bypass all other security) I’d like to ban all gmail emails with more than 3 dots. While I’m at it I’d also change the code to remove all dots when working out if the email already exists. I can do this in code but can’t find the correct filter/hook to use. Could you point me in the right direction please?
