I volunteer with a non profit animal rescue and we are using gravity forms with cleantalk
When the person completes the form they can also agree to subscribe to our newsletter, sometimes cleantalk will mark the message as spam and if we unmark it i am told they wont allow the message to be processed and sent to our contact email
If gravityforms marks it as spam, we can unmark it and it has options to resend notifications, however it does not have an option to processs the mailchimp subscription
I am sort of techy, but the rest of team is not so they would be missing contact messages and also subscribers because of these issues

I’d reach out to Cleantalk to ask why things are getting marked as spam – that should not be happening.
Akismet works great with Gravity Forms. Maybe switch and test it out?
