spam url slug found during indexing of sitemap, what should I do?

[ad_1]

Hi so I just sent in a fresh sitemap to be indexed by search console and I found this on the end of one of my urls –

?s=pg & b+Jogabilidade+【313bet.Casino】+Ganhe+R$188+Grátis+Slots

How would this have happened? I have never had this happen before on one of my clients sites.

I run wordfence on all my sites and 2FA on all admin users.

Any ideas how to fix it? I cant find the page on 'pages' on the back end of the wordpress site.

The URL sends me to a blog page search for 'PG'

any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. ?s is a search query (so don’t worry, it doesn’t mean that you’ve been hacked).

Depending on what SEO plugin you’re using, you can disable those. Failing that – use an htaccess or robots ‘noindex’ rule to prevent then from being indexed by search engines.
