The free version of the plugin does not support pushing a staging site to live. So, would you let us know how you pushed the staging site to live?
Also, pushing a staging site to live does not delete backups of both sites.

I have the paid version of the plugin to be able to use staging. Should I have asked this questions somewhere else?
If I have a backup at my live site, and updates the staging site. The backup does not follow along to the staging site. And the backups I had on the live page is gone when the staging site is pushed to live.
