I’ve been asked if we could take the current configurator and add ‘stock control’ to it. That looks ok since the plugin addon can handle it, but but the sounds of it, it then places all of the individual parts into the basket.
At the moment, the small variations parts (e.g. different choice of colour or handle) don’t have any prices, only the main top level options (e.g. size).
How does that work with a basket if people are placing in things like “red door”, “round handle”, with a 0 cost against them? Could they technically go into their basket and remove random bits leaving them with just the ‘free’ options?
