I am looking to implement a storefront for selling my photography work in print format and have looked at some plugins but they seem very heavy.
Could someone recommend something lightweight and that easily be implemented with WordPress?

If WooCommerce is very heavy for you. Look at Envira gallery and many of its addons that allows you to sell directly.
