strange cookie detection | WordPress.org

[ad_1]

Hi,

the cookie detection (and thus the generated cookie policy) shows some strange results:

  • there are lots of wordpress cookies which are – according to my understanding – not relevant for website visitors (only for admins/editors), so they should not show up in the cookie policy (at least most of them). Can I safely uncheck the “include in cookie policy” for ALL of them?
  • there is a cookie WP_DATA_USER_2 in the section unknown services, but from the WP-prefix I would assume it belongs to wordpress as well…
  • There are some cookies from complianz in the section unknown services: cmplz_task_filter and cmplzSelectedRegion (it says something about empty fields). They show up in the list of detected cookies but not in the cookie policy. Why?

For the first two topics, I found an older thread here, but nothing has changed since. And I cannot find where I can see or mark cookies as “admin cookies”.

What do you recommend? I do not have a visitor login on my website (and answered accordingly in the wizard).

In addition, I might have accidentally changed some cookie settings when I copied the cookie names into this thread…is there a possibility to restore the cookie settings to default settings?

Thanks.
