Hello @crazygo sounds like you may have a style rule that’s messing with things or a cache issue. Best to clear your browser and server cache. Make sure you’re signed out of the site after to check.
Know that gateways and field orientation and colors have nothing to do with WooCommerce core for the most part. They can often take on their own designs. Depending on the Stripe app you’re using and if you’ve customized any part with CSS inside your OceanWP theme.
Hi @crazygo,
Thank you for reaching out to WooCommerce support. I understand having a field with white text on a white background isn’t good, even more so for a credit card field. I have a few questions for you to learn more and help you troubleshoot this together:
- Can you tell us exactly which Stripe plugin you are using?
- And which theme are you using? When you say reset your theme, do you mean you switch to another theme and then go back to your custom theme, and it works without making any additional changes?
- Are your WordPress, WooCommerce plugin, Stripe plugin, and theme all up to date?
- Do you use any caching plugin? If so, have you given this guide a try?
- Do you find any errors on your browser’s console?
- Do you find any errors on your WooCommerce Logs?
<span style=”box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;”>Please note this is the support forum for the WooCommerce core plugin; if this is an issue with our Stripe plugin, kindly open a new thread in the respective forum so we can continue troubleshooting there.</span> You may include a link to this thread so we can have all the details shared so far.
If you’re using any third-party Stripe plugin, please let us know and we can help you get support from the proper channels!
Thanks!
