Yes, this is happening because the Default Search Form uses your theme styling but all other search forms use the plugin styling.
You can style other search forms to display them inline by adding the below CSS code in the Custom CSS option of Ivory Search plugin settings on the path Admin Area -> Ivory Search -> Settings -> Settings
.is-form-style button.is-search-submit {
display: inline-block;
