thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The input fields on the “Edit” screen are indeed comparably small, similar to how common spreadsheet software does this. However, you can easily increase the default size via the “Screen Options” tab in the upper right corner of the screen.

Adding basic formatting, including bold font, is possible e.g. in the “Advanced Editor”, which you can open by clicking into the desired cell and then using the button below the input fields, or the right-click context menu, or the Ctrl+E (or cmd+E on a Mac) keyboard shortcut.

Changing the styling of the table (and columns) is possible with “Custom CSS” code. For some examples, please see the TablePress FAQ at
