Hi Rory.
Yes, that’s the idea of survey questions and this is how they work for us. There are no correct/wrong marks on them.
Is there a way to get them to not display as a wrong answer?
They do not display as wrong answers. They are neither wrong, nor correct. Please double check that you really checked them to be survey questions.
If you are observing a different behavior, you definitely must share your URL. This is highly recommended when reporting any kind of an issue so we don’t have to guess.
Unfortunately the site is not accessible publicly yet – here is a screenshot of what I mean, it receives styles from the .answer class that results in it showing as wrong:
The question is marked as a survey, I have checked its record in the database and is_survey is set to 1. It does not get included in the tally of right/wrong answers for the quiz, it is purely a CSS issue on how it is displayed.
I’m sorry but it’s not possible to assist with sites that are not online. You can contact us again when your site is online.
The survey questions “li” element should have a class “user-answer-survey”, not just “user-answer”.
Without debugging it in place, it’s impossible to advise why the class is not assigned.
The feature does work correctly on all our local and online demo installations.
The survey questions “li” element should have a class “user-answer-survey”, not just “user-answer”.
I will continue looking my end for why this is, thanks for your help!
