SVG support snippet | WordPress.org

[ad_1]

Hi @okelloemma,

If you added the “Allow SVG Uploads” code snippet from the library and you still can’t upload SVG files there might be something else (another plugin or configuration) overriding it.

Did you copy/paste the code or install the snippet from inside the plugin in WordPress?

Hello,

thank you for the fast response. First, i copied the code and pasted it then it didn’t work. Then i deactivated it. I went back to the wpcode website then i clicked the option to ‘use snippet’ which then redirected me to my website and i installed the code. But still this has not worked.

Since this is a local website, would it be possible to try disabling other plugins temporarily just to rule out another plugin overriding the code snippet added through WPCode?

Okay please. Let me do that and see.

So i have deactivated almost all the plugins and your suggestion has worked. The svg logo has uploaded. Now how do i go around this to know which plugin was the problem. For your information, I was using header and footer builder provided by ElementsKit to build my header.

In order to find which plugin is interfering you will need to try to upload the SVG each time after activating each plugin until the upload doesn’t work again.
