Switching between SEO plugins?

[ad_1]

Hi everyone. I’ve got a site using Yoast right now and have been wanting to try out other SEO plugins and wanted to confirm a few things before doing anything.
Here are my questions:

* If I disable Yoast and enable a different SEO plugin, will that remove anything from the existing posts and pages that were made while Yoast was active?
* If I enable a new SEO plugin, will it overwrite anything that Yoast set up on those posts?
* Can I switch back and forth between SEO plugins without impacting anything else negatively?
* I was looking at SEO Framework which seemed to have a feature to import data from Yoast, I’m assuming that should mean the switch would be seamless. How about going back the other way around to Yoast?

Yes – the meta fields, custom page titles, etc will be removed.

No. But Yoast’s info won’t appear on the site.

All the major SEO plugins have an import feature, so it’s easy to switch between them.
