So have my online record shop on Fast hosts, only just noticed on the 13th my introductory offer of 1.20 a month is due to renew to £8 plus Vat a month,
So I want to switch to ionos for the 12 months deal, not making enough yet to justify a tenna a month and fast hosts have had down time few times a week lately ,
I have my domain till 2025, is it as simple as back up to cloud, end contract start new elsewhere and install from cloud? I'm scared to do anything incase I delete all my work ?
Have googled it but have ADHD and written instructions looked a bit much , I've learnt what I have through you tube videos so pause after every step.
So basically if I end contract with fast host after backing up can I just switch To new host?

Backup your site using UpdraftPlus. Download the backup files.
Install UpdraftPlus on the new host and upload your backups into it and hit restore.
Point your DNS to the new host.
Done.
